Who should attend?

PCNA Conferences, held every two years, bring together those with an interest in delivering high quality, contemporary palliative care services to learn, discuss, debate and re-new. By engaging and networking with others, attending presentation/workshops, and exploring posters, delegates will: gain insight and inspiration to enable, enrich and transform their practice be able to contribute to the changing palliative care landscape.

To register for the PCNA 2018 via the secure online registration link below. Registrations can either be paid using the secure online credit card option, or you may select ‘pay later’ and an invoice will be emailed to you.



Registration Fees

Early Bird Registration
The deadline for early bird registration is Friday 30 March 2018. You must register before this date to receive the early bird rate. After this date, all new and unpaid registrations will be charged the standard registration rate.

To maintain your pre-registered conference rate, you are required to pay within seven (7) days from the date of invoice. Please keep this in mind if you are required to obtain prior authorisation.

Wine & Die Workshop, if you only wish to attend this workshop - Saturday 19th May 1700-1900
Palliative Care Nurses Australia and Palliative Care Queensland/Compassionate Communities Queensland are pleased to invite registrations to attend this unique event. Facilitated by Dr Sarah Winch it is an opportunity to join in open conversations about death, dying and preparing for the end while enjoying a drink and nibbles.
Cost to register for this workshop is $40 - register now for Wine & Die Workshop only.

Registration Types and Information

Member / Non Member* – Full Registration
Full registration includes attendance at the Networking Function, all sessions and catering during the days.
*The Non-Member Registration Fee includes a complimentary 12 month PCNA membership trial. During the registration process you will be asked to confirm if you would like to become a member.

Student** – Full Registration
Registration includes attendance at the Networking Function, all sessions and catering during the days.
** The Student Registration Fee is only applicable for Full-Time Nursing Students (ID required).

Single Day Registration
Single day registration is permitted for one day only. If you would like to attend more than one day, full registration must be purchased.  If you are only attending for the day and wish to attend the Networking Function you will need to purchase a ticket(s) at $65 each.

Social Function – Networking Reception
Additional tickets may be purchased for delegates and accompanying persons to attend the Networking Function. Please indicate this during the registration process.

  • Full registration – includes Networking Reception Ticket
  • Day Registration – does not include Networking Reception Ticket
  • Networking Reception – extra tickets – $65.00 each

Payment

Payment Details
It is preferred that early bird registration is paid by credit card online at the time of registration. However, a tax invoice is available. Online payments can be made with MasterCard and VISA.

Please note there will be a charge of $20 administration fee for all manual registrations. Onsite registration will be charged the appropriate late registration rates plus a $20 manual processing fee.

All fees are due upon registering. Where early bird prices are applicable, fees must be paid by the early bird date in order to receive the reduced rate. All fees must be paid in full prior to attending the event.

Credit Card Payment

The conference accepts MasterCard and VISA. Credit card payments will appear on your statement as The Meeting People - Colonel Light Gardens.

Terms and Conditions

Cancellation Policy:

  • Registration and social function cancellations and amendments will not be accepted unless made in writing to the Conference Manager – reg@themeetingpeople.com.au
  • Cancellations received on or before 30 April 2018 will be refunded less $110 administration fee.
  • No registration refunds will be made for cancellations after this date however a substitute delegate will be accepted.
