The Brisbane Airport is in close proximity to the city centre providing delegates with a range of budget-friendly transfer options. They are all 20 minutes from the CBD. Limousine transfers, taxis and car hire are also available.
Brisbane Airtrain is available from Airport to CBD - there is an option to pre-purchase a ticket through their website https://airtrain.com.au/ , or alternatively:
- Go from your flight gate to baggage claim (on Level 2).
- Passing the Visitor Information Desk take the escalators or lift onto Level 3 where you'll find the Airtrain platform entrance and ticket counter.
If you get please locate the Visitor Information Desk on Level 2.
The Brisbane Airport is serviced by a number of taxi firms. The taxi rank is conveniently located right outside the domestic terminal building. Fares average about $40 to the city depending on your final destination.
Banks are generally open from Monday to Friday from 0930-1500. Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) are widely available.
Certificate of Attendance
A Certificate of Attendance will be emailed to you at the conclusion of the Conference.
If you have any dietary requirements please indicate this on your online registration form. During the Conference, please make yourself known to venue catering staff to ensure you have the correct meal.
Personal Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that all delegates take out their own travel and medical insurance prior to coming to the Conference. The Organising Committee and the Secretariat do not take any responsibility for any participant failing to insure. Please seek further information from your travel agent or airline.
In case of industrial disruption or other external events causing disruption to the Conference, the Organising Committee of the PCNA and the Conference Secretariat (The Meeting People Pty Ltd) accept no responsibility for loss of monies incurred by delegates.
Admission to all sessions is by the official conference name badge. Please wear your badge at all times during the Conference.
Parking is available at Wintergarden Car Park located at 162 Elizabeth St, Brisbane. It is open 24 hours. Sunday/Monday: $15/day (Rates as at Aug 2017). Online booking available.

Photography & Videography
While attending the conference you may be photographed or filmed. By registering for the conference you agree to these photographs or footage being used for promotional purposes.
Presenters will have the option to upload to a dropbox up to two weeks prior to the conference will be provided. Please also bring your PowerPoint presentation with you on a memory stick as a backup. All PowerPoint presentations will need to be pre-loaded during a refreshment break (at least one session before your presentation time).
Personal information, as defined under the national privacy legislation, The Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2001, will be treated in accordance with the National Privacy Principles and only shared with related or third parties in accordance with those principles. The Meeting People on behalf of Palliative Care Nurses Australia Inc will gather and record personal information necessary for your attendance at the conference.
